  • Each day is split into two sessions: 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. and 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.
  • Each camp week comes with a kit of supplies for the daily activities. Kits will include enough materials for one camper – but can be shared with other campers in the household. Additional kits are available for an add-on fee. Kits will be available for pick-up at the museum on the Friday before the camps week starts from 6 – 7 p.m.
  • Camp activities are designed with parents in mind. Activities are intended to be completed with virtual assistance from museum educators and require little parental oversight.
  • Activities are hands-on and mostly mess-free.

Schedule: Materials pick-up: June 12 (6-7 p.m.); Materials drop-off: June 19 (6-7 p.m.)

Astronomy Day – Origami Constellations
Mon., June 15
Origami Constellations! Learn about how constellations give us a map of the night sky and then use origami to create some of them. Plus, campers can build their own set of navigational tools and learn how astronomers use these tools to navigate Earth.

Robotics and Technology – Ozbots
Tues., June 16
Here we’ll learn about different ways to communicate with technology and how to code through colors using Ozobot Robotics. Then campers will use their new color coding knowledge to create a rollercoaster and racecourse for Ozobot Evo.

Natural History – Sticks, Stones & A Few Animal Bones
Wed., June 17
Join us as we explore animal life from prehistory to present. Discover life long ago and the fossil evidence left behind. Create your own “articulated bone clone” while learning to identify and compare the bones of modern animals species.

STEAM Day – DoodleBots and BristleBots
Thurs., June 18
Campers will take apart a toothbrush and use the motor to create a little doodling friend – is it a bot or is it not? Waste not, want not – camper will then create their very own version of a nanobot by using the toothbrush head and a pancake motor. Featuring Doodlebots and Bristlebots.

History – I Spy!
Fri., June 19
We’ll go undercover after constructing spy props and disguises. Then we will learn all about Cher Ami, a very important historical spy who just happened to also be a pigeon.
