Hometown Homecoming Dance

The Hometown Homecoming Dance 2020 will be Saturday, October 17 from 7 – 10 pm. It will be held at the Pavilion at Blythewood Presbyterian Church, 441 Rimer Pond Road, Blythewood, SC. This will be an outdoor event and safety measures will be in place. Your ticket will include two (2) orders from the food truck on premises as well as drinks and desserts. Attendees will be able to purchase additional food items as they desire from the food truck.
The dance is open to traditional, non-district homeschoolers and their guests, 9th to 12th grade only. Please do not ask for exceptions for 8th graders and below. This is intended to be a high school only event. The cost is $25 (plus fee of $2.00 if you pay online, which is non-refundable) per ticket per student. You can also register and pay $25 at all Varsity football games or by emailing email@example.com for registration form. You must register each attendee separately. All attendees 18 years old and over, and all parents of attendees under 18 years old, must sign a Covid Waiver. CLICK HERE FOR TICKETS
TICKETS ARE LIMITED. NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AT DOOR THIS YEAR!
Dress Code – Gentlemen must wear slacks or dress pants with collared shirt. Ties and jackets are optional. Ladies must wear dress in modest fashion, showing no cleavage and having appropriate dress or skirt length. No exposed midriff or low back (top must overlap skirt at all times). “Raise your hands, touch your toes, if anything shows, go change your clothes!” Dress code will be strictly enforced by requests to leave dance.
Behavior – All attendees must remain at the pavilion at all times, unless entering or exiting dance. Once exited, no attendee will be allowed to return. There will be chaperones at all times (who can escort attendees to their cars, if needed). No outside food or drinks allowed. Appropriate behavior will be enforced.
Music – Every attempt has been made to incorporate a balance of Christian and secular music that is age appropriate. Song requests by attendees will be allowed, but not necessarily honored.
