DESCRIPTION:Birthday Month Card Exchange\nBy Cola City Homeschoolers\nJune/July/August Card Exchange\nAll Ages — FREE\nLet’s celebrate the fun of birthdays–together! Here’s how it works. Registrations for anyone who has a birthday this summer–June/July/August. \n\nWe will send out a list of participants (up to 10 others) who are also having a birthday.\nYou will send each of them a card…and each one will send you a card.\nPlus\, you’ll get one from Cola City admins too!\n\nWe will try to group the lists by ages as much as possible. We recommend you make the cards personalized with a token gift inside–like stickers\, temporary tattoos\, a printable game or handmade note. Something that mails easily with a regular stamp. \nRemember this is meant to be fun! So have your child do a reasonable part of the project. Young ones might put a sticker on the envelope or be able to sign their name. Find out more about how you can get involved in taking care of our environment. \nJoin in for this presentation especially for Home Educators. It’s about 1.5 hour presentation. We’re playing water wars at Granby Gardens Park\, 1800 12th St\, Cayce\, SC 29033. All ages–no charge.\n(note: GPS sometimes pulls up Grandby Park instead. Try also Cayce Town Hall at 1800 12th Street\, Cayce). \nBring your own squirt guns and blasters\, lawn chairs\, drinking water\, and sunscreen. Shoes and face shields/goggles are recommended. Bring a towel to dry off.\nBathrooms are located in Town Hall–behind the park.\nBook donations for the Little Free Library on-site at the park are also welcome. \nNo need to sign up\, just come on out and play! Since the birds are usually not singing this time of year\, we will focus on visual identification\, productive birding locations around the state\, and techniques that can increase your bird “life-list” this fall!
