Please join us for live\, instructor-led virtual workshops to teach South Carolina boys in grades 6-12 the fundamentals of coding\, its history\, technology evolution\, cyber safety and cyber careers. \n\n\nStudents will learn to code\, program interactive stories\, create apps\, animations and games with engaging activities with Hour of Code™. Students will also be introduced to artificial intelligence and the basics of machine learning. Hour of Code™ on-demand resources will also help nurture problem-solving skills\, logic\, creativity\, and starts a foundation for success in any 21st-century career path. During IT-oLogy’s workshops\, students will explore HTML\, JavaScript\, Python and Scratch programming languages and most importantly\, have FUN coding! \nIT-oLogy’s Boys Who Code club is free to join and hosted virtually bi-weekly on Wednesdays from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m beginning December 8\, 2021 and will run through May 2022. Students go through a living history program that makes history come alive! Over 75\,000 children have experienced the program. Today\, some of the past attendees are now parents and bring another generation of students to the program! Schools from across Georgia and South Carolina attend every year. The recreated submarine will be featured in an upcoming movie. This is a must-see for children! \n\n\nStudents will rotate\, at their own pace\, through different stations that bring history alive. Students will step back in time as living historians in authentic dress or uniform explain: Women’s Camp Life\, Women’s 1865 fashions\, Military uniforms\, The role of infantry\, artillery\, and calvary\, Tent & camp set up\, 1865 music\, Artillery fire demonstration\, Evolution of the musket with firing\, Military engineering and signal corps\, Blacksmithing\, Pioneer crafts\, 1865 open fire cooking.\n\n\n\n\nStudents can also see and tour: An authentic 19th century log cabin\, A recreated one room school house\, Corral with horses\, A recreated 1850 jail\, An 1865 country store\, Soldier campsites.\nAdmission: Free\nTime: Gates open at 8:30 A.M. and close at 3:00 P. M. Presentations begin at 9 A. M. There is no minimum or maximum time requirement. Please join us for live\, instructor-led virtual workshops to teach South Carolina boys in grades 6-12 the fundamentals of coding\, its history\, technology evolution\, cyber safety and cyber careers. \n\n\nStudents will learn to code\, program interactive stories\, create apps\, animations and games with engaging activities with Hour of Code™. Students will also be introduced to artificial intelligence and the basics of machine learning. Hour of Code™ on-demand resources will also help nurture problem-solving skills\, logic\, creativity\, and starts a foundation for success in any 21st-century career path. During IT-oLogy’s workshops\, students will explore HTML\, JavaScript\, Python and Scratch programming languages and most importantly\, have FUN coding! \nIT-oLogy’s Boys Who Code club is free to join and hosted virtually bi-weekly on Wednesdays from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m beginning December 8\, 2021 and will run through May 2022. The following rules are\nput in place to help make league bowling run smoothly. \nLeague Name: Home School\nDivisions are Bumpers &amp; No Bumpers\nPRACTICE BEGINS AT 1:00pm\nlength: 10 minutes (scored bowling to begin afterwards)\nSCHEDULE (subject to change due to scheduled events at the bowling center)\nThe league will bowl a twelve (12) week schedule\, with a hosted special “Fun Day” at the end of each\nsession.\nThe Winter League will start on January 7th\, 2022 and end on March 25 th \, 2022.
