While there\, he actively assisted students in the college search and application process and maintained a constant focus on the best possible outcome for students in both academic advising and college admissions counseling. \nBeyond the many students he helped in the college search and application process\, his accomplishments include numerous presentations to parents and students on choosing and applying to colleges and identifying scholarship and financial aid opportunities. Since 1996\, his students have been awarded close to $60 million in scholarships. \nFollowing his retirement from the public school system in 2008\, he founded College Consultants of South Carolina\, LL..

Cottageville SC\nJoin HERO for a fun trip to Bee City! We will attend a 30 min. education program\, visit the animals and see honey bottling and beeswax pouring demonstrations. Each participant will receive an 8oz honey and a beeswax item. You will have the option once there\, to purchase a $5 food bag that includes food for 1 bird encounter\, 1 monkey encounter\, and 1 larger animal (TBD). Feel free to pack your lunch and enjoy a nice picnic\, or purchase food at their cafe. \nItinerary:\nThe class will begin approximately 15 minutes after arrival. Classes are typically 30-35 minutes long. \nRemember to Bring:\nYou are welcome to stay and make a day of it. We have partnered with Harbison State Forest’s Certified Wildlife Habitat Garden as our “school” garden. \nThis project is an introduction/orientation to the garden and Green Steps plus a lesson on pollinators. We’ve got a grant that has provided pollinator-friendly plants that need to be planted now.\n\nGarden Project from 1-3 pm on Sept 23 at Harbison State Forest  5600 Broad River Rd\, Columbia\, SC 29212.\nCost: $3/student or $5/family to help fund our Green Steps projects \nWe’ll meet behind the Education Center (Note: the building is closed\, and we will not have access to restrooms). Parking fees are waived for this activity. We will still practice social distancing. But\, masks are recommended whenever we’re closer than 6 feet apart. \nPlease bring sunscreen\, bug repellant and comfortable clothing and footwear for working in the garden. Bring hand trowel/small shovel if you have one. All club members are welcome to join! (If you’re not a member\, click here to join Fall Session for $5)\nRules:\n\nWe will determine who is ‘it’ with a random number generator\nEvery player starts in Spawn city\, the player who is ‘it’ will count to 30\, then chase everyone and find as many players as they can in 5 minutes.\nNO TELEPORTING. We have set up boundary walls as well\, otherwise you can just run into infinity and never get caught 😉 We will be watching closely\, if you are caught teleporting or digging under or through the boundary walls\, you’ll be disqualified from the game (the account\, for those who share accounts\, so keep your siblings accountable!)\nPlay Fair! No cheating\, telling where you saw someone hiding\, ect. All of our regular server rules also apply here.\n\nThe goal is to have as many players playing as we can. Stick around til the end of the game (about an hour or so of playing)\, there will be an in-game prize for participating!\n\nIf any of you that aren’t part of the club yet would like to join us\, we’ll get you set up with orientation prior to the Hide ‘n Seek event.
