DESCRIPTION:Art on the Porch (2-sessions)\nCeramic Basket\nHosted by Cola City\nThursday\, April 15 & 29\nK5-8th grade — $25\nParticipants will make handmade ceramic clay baskets with decorative leaves and flowers in 2 sessions. Session 1 on April 15 will roll out clay ropes to create a handmade coil basket and tour see the kiln. Session 2 on April 29 will paint the glaze coat in various color options. The projects will be fired in the kiln after each class. \nArt on the Porch class meets at Kim’s house\, 201 Sutton Way\, Irmo. We will be outside\, but masks are also recommended. Wear comfortable clothing\, that you don’t mind getting paint on. \nSpace is limited to 6 participants per time slot (10 am or 12:30 pm). Pick up finished pieces before Mother’s Day.

Registrations for anyone who has a birthday coming up in May. \n\nWe will send out a list of participants (up to 10 others) who are also having a birthday.\nYou will send each of them a card…and each one will send you a card.\nPlus\, you’ll get one from Cola City admins too!\n\nWe will try to group the lists by ages as much as possible. We recommend you make the cards personalized with a token gift inside–like stickers\, temporary tattoos\, a printable game or handmade note. Something that mails easily with a regular stamp. \nRemember this is meant to be fun! So have your child do a reasonable part of the project. Young ones might put a sticker on the envelop or be able to sign their name.
