The rule about adult-themed skins still applies (no naked looking/inappropriate people please) but we are relaxing the creepy rule just for this party.\n\nPumpkin Hunt: Enter my lair and search for as many pumpkins as you can gather in the time provided. Be warned\, there are many twists and turns and secrets.\n\nParkour course: Test your skills on our new parkour course. Show off your balance\, jumps\, speed\, and precision as you travel through the perilous obstacle course. Win bragging rights and glory by completing the four sections!\n\nSwamp Hide and Seek: “It” will be chosen by a random number generator\, they will count to 30\, then have 5 minutes to hunt for the hiders. NO TELEPORTING (unless you accidentally die\, then you may use the /back command)\, you will be provided food. This contest won’t have a winner\, it’s just lots of fun!\nBeware\, you must enter each contest empty-handed or be disqualified from prizes. These live forest hikes are an engaging way for students to learn about forestry and natural resources. The program is about 30 minutes and includes a student worksheet to be completed during the hike. Students are encouraged to ask questions. \nThe topic for this program is ECOSYSTEM INTERACTIONS\, geared for ages 9-12\nStudents will explore the piedmont habitat at Harbison State Forest and learn how biotic organisms interact within an ecosystem. Students will investigate food webs and the flow of energy through a forest ecosystem. DESCRIPTION:Revolutionary War Education Day\nBy Liberty Live\nFriday\, November 6\, 9 am-1 pm\nFREE — All Ages\nRevolutionary War Field Days Education Day on Friday\, November 6th\, at the Meeting Place\, located at 1208 Keys Lane\, Kershaw\, SC. \nOver 22 activities and demonstrations will be available for the students and parents.  Drop-in even from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm “drop-in” event.  It’s designed with flexibility in how the children spend their time at the various stations. \nIf you’d like to bring a picnic lunch\, there will be plenty of space for that.  There will be restroom facilities on site\, but no running water\, so do be aware of that.  Also\, per Covid regulations\, adults and children are asked to wear masks when social distancing cannot be achieved. \nThere will be a photographer there taking pictures to use in the future marketing of Liberty Live and Revolutionary War Field Day events.  If you prefer your children not to be in any pictures\, please let them know. \nThere is ample parking but there are no paved or gravel parking lots.  The site is a grassy farmland that sits on sand that drains very well in the event of rain. \nQuestions: Contact Kim/Cola City Homeschoolers 803-348-2419 or colacityinfo@gmail.com\nPlease pre-register so we can send you a reminder email and notify the venue of our number of participants.

Session 1 on November 9 will roll out the leaves and form them\, paint ladybugs and tour see the kiln. Session 2 on November 16 will paint the glaze coat in various color options. The projects will be fired in the kiln after each class. \nArt on the Porch classes meet at Kim’s house\, 201 Sutton Way\, Irmo. We will be outside\, but masks are also recommended.
