Just show up but there is a sign up form so we can send you a reminder about the location details each week. \nThis is not just another playground meet-up group. It’s a new kind of play program. Intentionally designed to foster independence\, social development\, problem solving–for all ages (especially 8+). Families with younger siblings are also welcome\, though. \nLet Grow Play Club Thursdays 1-3pm–thru May\nThis Week’s Location: Columbia Museum of Art is located at 1515 Main Street\, Columbia\, SC 29201 \nAdmission is FREE\, but you will need to pay metered parking along the street. Look for Kim to greet you near the front desk or the children’s play room area. We will go over the Play Club Pledge (and the museum rules/policies). \nWe’ll explore the various galleries with a scavenger hunt list to spark independant conversations. Located at Firefly Toys & Games\, 736 Saint Andrews Rd Ste C\, Columbia\, SC \nFirefly staff will be highlighting and teaching educational board games which cover a range of subjects\, such as: Math\, Science\, Geography\, Chemistry and many more. \nUse games for education; come learn about it.\nAnd look for other Cola City Homeschoolers! We’re scheduling this as a meet-up time/location for our “Let Grow Club” initiative.

But\, a great place for older kids to explore the path or stream. Bring a towel in case you get wet. Nice and shady–for the anticipated hotter days ahead! \nBring nerf blasters to play in the wooded areas. (note: GPS sometimes pulls up Grandby Park downtown instead. Try also Cayce Town Hall at 1800 12th Street\, Cayce). \nWe hope to see this grow and expand to more projects and activities to develop interpersonal connections as well as personal agency. Game stations for Water Wars\, Relay Games and Water Wiffle Ball.\nSpecial Guest appearance: The chicken costume \nBring your own squirt guns and blasters\, lawn chairs\, drinking water\, and sunscreen. Shoes and face shields/goggles are recommended. Parking at the lower lot\, look for the driveway next to the child care center.\nThere’s a playground and a picnic shelters.
