With a very Mean stepmother\, a Vain stepsister and her equally as mischievous Forward stepsister\, Cinderella is treated very poorly indeed. In the true tradition of every fairy tale\, the Fairy Godmother comes to Cinderella’s rescue and together with all the fairies of the magical kingdom ensure a happy ending as Cinderella and her Prince Charming live happily ever after. \nThis production is more than a story about footwear – it is an allegory of good triumphing over mean-spiritedness. \nCombined with the lush music of Sergei Prokofiev\, and the brilliant choreography of founding director Ann Brodie\, the Carolina Ballet Artistic Director\, Mimi Worrell\, breathes magic into this well known and beloved fairy tale.
