We will email you prior to the cleanup to verify the meeting location and attendance. \nKeep the Midlands Beautiful started the Spotless Service Saturday initiative to address highly littered areas with monthly cleanups hosted by our team! Cleanup locations rotate each month in the areas KMB serves – Richland County\, Lexington County\, the City of Columbia and the Town of Irmo. This event grew from a collaboration with the USC Service Saturday program.  All residents\, both individuals and groups\, are encouraged to join the KMB team and USC students in these monthly cleanups. \nThis is a great volunteer opportunity for teens\, parents\, and kids of appropriate age.  REGISTER HERE.

Over the last 120 centuries\, the area has had an array of inhabitants\, including mammoths\, Native American tribes and Civil War soldiers. It includes earthworks from an 1865 Civil War battle. The park is full of stories and offers something for explorers of all ages. \nGuided historical walking tours are offered on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the year. Trained by the National Park Service\, our volunteer guides will take you on a walk along this beautiful trail filled with stories of the Battle of Congaree Creek\, Fort Congaree and Native American Lifeways. There are also special events including Nature Days and Civil War Encampments. \nCurrently\, the park is collecting donations to build a state of the art visitors center. From Golf to Shakespeare\, Computer Programming to Bug Biodiversity\, there is something to interest your student! REGISTER HERE!\n  \nPlanning for Camp\nRegistration\nRegistration is completely online. A $20 registration fee per camper (not per camp) will be added at checkout. \nRoom Requests\nCampers may each make one request to room with a friend or sibling. Room requests must be mutual. We will do our best to fulfill each request\, provided it is made on the online reservation form. \nRefund/Cancellation\n$50 deposit is non-refundable. Remaining payments will be refunded only if cancellation is received 10 or more days before the beginning of the camp. There is no refund for cancellations made after the 10-day notice period has expired. If the requested camp is full\, we will issue a complete refund or place your camper’s name on a waiting list. Over the last 120 centuries\, the area has had an array of inhabitants\, including mammoths\, Native American tribes and Civil War soldiers. It includes earthworks from an 1865 Civil War battle. The park is full of stories and offers something for explorers of all ages. \nGuided historical walking tours are offered on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the year. Trained by the National Park Service\, our volunteer guides will take you on a walk along this beautiful trail filled with stories of the Battle of Congaree Creek\, Fort Congaree and Native American Lifeways. There are also special events including Nature Days and Civil War Encampments. \nCurrently\, the park is collecting donations to build a state of the art visitors center. Students will work on costume or prop creation as well – making this camp an immersive week in theatre arts bringing the whole musical theatre experience together. \nThe students will participate in a joint showcase ON THE TOWN THEATRE STAGE on Friday evening\, June 21st at 7:00 PM. SUMMARY:Let Grow Club: 9-Square
DESCRIPTION:Let Grow Play Club: 9 Square Meet-up\nby Cola City Homeschoolers\nTUESDAY\, June 18\, 10 am-noon\nFREE — All ages\nThis activity *IS* hosted by Cola City Homeschoolers\, but there is no sign up necessary. Just show up but there is a sign up form so we can send you a reminder about the location details each week. \nThis is not just another playground meet-up group. It’s a new kind of play program. Intentionally designed to foster independence\, social development\, problem solving–for all ages (especially 8+). Families with younger siblings are also welcome\, though. \nWe hope to see this grow and expand to more projects and activities thru the summer to develop interpersonal connections as well as personal agency. We’re switching up to Tuesdays at 10 am for June/July. \nLet Grow Play Club TUESDAY 10 am-12pm–thru June/July\nThis Week’s Location: Grandby Gardens Park\,  1800 12th St\, Cayce\, SC 29033. (note: GPS sometimes pulls up Grandby Park downtown instead. Try also Cayce Town Hall at 1800 12th Street\, Cayce). \nWe’ll be setting up 9-square in the air as a mixer/ice-breaker for adults and teens.
